We specialize in 8 mm and Super 8 silent movie transfer. We know how
valuable your memories are and we take great pride in preserving them forever.
We use a real time 800 resolution full firewire telecine projection network to
capture your film with amazing color quality and clarity.
Charge:
We charge 20 cents per foot for all projects.
Charge Includes:
The process of transferring film to a
digital source (DVD or other) requires many steps. The first step is an
evaluation of your film, damaged splices are replaced. Second, if you have many
small 3 inch reels, we will feed them onto new 7 inch reels and splice them
together with new Kodak Presstape splices. The next step is to lubricate and
clean the film with a safe film cleaner and soft cloth. After cleaning the
telecine projector is positioned and capturing to a a computer via firewire
beings. Once the film is captured to hard disk, we will cut out any long black
sequences and/or rotten film sequences. Now your film is ready for customized
playback, a music soundtrack is added, custom chapter points set, and it's
ready for burning to DVD. |
